As Tim Bray points out, Atom 1.0 is, essentially, finished. Draft 10 finally gives it its official namespace, which unambiguously identifies a feed that follows the final spec, rather than one of the many drafts. Sam is working through the huge list of tests, to ensure that the FeedValidator is as helpful as possible. That’s a lot of spec to cover, but there’s a lot less guesswork than there has been with other formats. (And it’s good to see the iTunes podcasting spec getting a revision.)
